1990 CRX Si swapped B16 + trans + many extras
1990 Honda CRX Si, swapped motor and 5 speed tranny from 2000 Civic Si
CRX body has 298,000 miles
Engine and tranny have about 150,000 miles
Inspection good til 06-2011
Replaced during swap ~5,000 miles ago:
Hasport motor mounts
Struts (KYB gas adjustable)
Springs (coil overs)
All 4 Complete Hub assemblies
2 - Rear lower control arms
P28 ECU
Skunk2 Chip
DC Sports header
Monza PaceSetter Cat back
AEM intake
2 - Corbeau yellow racing seats
New Master brake cylinder
4 - Brake Calipers, Rotors (drilled), Pads
5 - Motegi TrakLite 16" Gunmetal with polished lip (full size spare mounted and balanced)
5 - Michelin Pilot Exhaulto Tires hardly any tread wear
Rear hatch struts
Carbonfiber hood (hood pins not installed but included with car)
Extras included in sale:
CRX Si wheels and tires
A handful of corner lamps
Driver's CRX seat
Any other misc Honda part in my shed
The car runs good and pulls strong. A little blue smoke in the upper RPM (~7.5K+) range, I think it's valve seals. Ignition system is rigged, 1 ignition starts motor, the other unlocks steering wheel. Key doesn't fit doors or hatch. Battery moved to behind the passenger seat. This car is a blast to drive, the handling is amazing, I'd compare it to my wife's WRX, but I think the CRX is better. The hatch leaks a small amount from the driver's side hatch strut mount. The sunroof motor doesn't work via the switch, but it does have the manual crank handle. The interior needs some love. The driver's side door is ugly due to a deer rolling down the side of it. I was going to paint it, but I was waiting on a door. I'm open to offers, and can send pics via email. Please request specific picture angles if you would like pics.
