95 door molding - clips and holes in door or just glued on?

95 door molding - clips and holes in door or just glued on?
if i pull of the moldings are there clips and holes in the door or are they just stuck on w some sort of double sided stufff?

to remove them you usualy have to destry them if you can get behind them in the door.
i ripped mine off.
painted the car.
bought new ones with new clips
and snapped them back on
