Default How much of each? Brake fluid, coolant, transmission fluid

I am servicing my R soon and was wondering how much of each I would be needing. I currently have 12 fl. oz of brake fluid, and a gallon of coolant and was seeing if I would need more. Any info is appreciated. THanks so much.

2 quarts of tranny fluid, get 3 to be safe... a little more coolant wouldnt harm if you empty the whole radiator and hoses and possibly heater core...

make sure you are using OEM HONDA coolant.

non-oem coolant sucks, and is not designed for Honda motors.

Opps!! I am guilty of using non-OEM but never had an issue on any of my Hondas.

Ignore the guy who insists on "OEM" Honda coolant. It's a safe bet but far from the only option. You'll be safe with 1gal antifreeze + 1gal water (distilled is best). Total capacity is about 7-8qt and you're not going to get it all out. Besides, it's always smart to have some on hand

You're going to need about 2.2-2.3 quarts of MTF for a fluid change. Don't forget the crush washers on both plugs, one is the same as the oil drain plug washer whereas the other is not. I also advise breaking loose the fill plug before draining any trans fluid for obvious reasons.
