i need some help on my 92 prelude...i have the 2.3 litre and my clutch just wont engage...the slave cylinder is working and the fork is moving back and forth...im positive i have bleed them completely....now when the car is on the car can not go into gear why?

 

Have you check your tranny fluid? One time I had water mixed inside with my MTF and my car wouldn't go into any gears at all.

 

Yes, i filled it up before i started the engine up for the first time...the clutch just wont engage for some reason

 

having the same problem with my buddy's lude. it's an 2000 prelude . he let a friend drive it and he stalled the car on first gear. and all of a sudden clutch is soft and wouldn't go into no gears at all. changed out MC and SC. got pressure back and clutch is still soft and still wouldn't go into gear. changing out who clutch. hopefully it is he problem.

 

What happens when you start in first gear and let the clutch out?

 

did you line up the clutch with the alignment tool when you aligned it?

 

I understand the car go thru the gears from neutral with it off. Only binds while engine is on.

@5spd- It'll work to get the car in gear,but more than likely if he starts in 1st he'll have a hellof a time geting it into 2nd/3rd/ and back down. I have dealt with something of this magnatude with mine. Also the car will act like it's clutchless, a pain in the ***.

Honda MTF is the best. I don't know why? I tryed different ones too.

3 things I can think of linkage probs, or Sync problems and I have a to also agree with sde780 that if the clutch is not aligned or a warped flywheel you will also experience difficulties, getting into gear.
