i dont really know how a car works so can someone please explain in detail maybe pictures on a dummy level on how cars work? i currently have a civic coupe dx 96. i have a lot of jdm stuff on it becaause my uncle gave it to me. it is not done yet so i need help to fix it as well. ill take pics soon . im running on d16y8

 

Cars have hundreds of systems on them, you just can't put up a paragraph and say that's it. You will have to do some research....there is lot's of info both on this site and the web. Take you time, and run many searches

This should be in the tech thread. If you want to know about your specific model then say so. A modern day gas powered car runs on mechanical energy/power created by the combustion of air/fuel hence the term internal combustion engine.

Wiki is another place I think is often over looked, but like anything else on the world wide web...you have to take it with a grain of salt, meaning don't believe the first thing you read. Helms will over all be one of the best "factual" resorces you can get your hands on. And your already on the best forum IMHO to learn everything that has to do with a Honda/Acura. Most here will help as long as your willing to help yourself.
