i have a harvard blue 94 civic 4 door with white wheels. im putting a roof rack on it. i was thinking of color matching the bike to the car. spraying the bike harvard blue and painting the wheels white. has anyone done this before and opinions on how it would look?

 

Not functional and lame.

Edit: Could be functional if you actually needed to transport a bike, but if you just "like the look", waste of money.

 

that's a pretty ignorant way of looking at things. if you just "like the look" is the only reason to ever do anything cosmetic to your car. that's what it's all about. except for its rust prevention qualities, that's the only reason anything ever gets topcoated.

dumped94 - the only one who can tell you if it looks good is you. do what you want, and f*** anyone who tells you differently. color matching a bike would be very easy if you know the paint code of your car, which you do, so go for it.
