Default best fit on rep lips

As far as the material for lips go, what's the better fit for reps? Polyurethane or plastic? and they do leave gaps right?

polyurethane is more flexible than abs plastic, so theoretically you'll get a better fit for your own car because you'll be able to stretch it and stick it exactly where you need to. ABS plastic is kind of the same idea, more flexible than fiberglass, but much more rigid than a poly lip. with ABS you're pretty much stuck with what you get. if yours was molded wrong or there's a gap, there's not much you can do. ABS also cracks shatters when it's hit rather than just flexing. if you whack a lot of curbs, plan on being pissed off 90% of the time with an ABS lip. then again, the extreme flex of a poly lip will cause the lip to stay intact, but just crack and flake the paint.
