what's up fellas? I've got a few questions for the gurus..

I am wondering where the best place to order phoenix yellow (ITR) paint would be.. I got into a little fender bender that requires a paint job, and i've always loved the yellow ITR. Also, how many cans of paint will I need to paint the entire car, door jambs, trunk, etc.

How much am I looking at spending on just paint & clear coat?

 

you need to go to an automotive paint store, you need a gallon of base and a gallon of clear, along with all the hardener and reducer. I cant say exactly how much its gona cost cus there is different grades of paint, but typically between 400-600 dollars for the paint supplys, and i assume that you have a paint booth and a paint gun, and an air compressor, etc.

 

I bought NHBP at a local automotive store. I paid about $350 for my base, clear, hardener, and reducer. The shop had different qualities of paint that had different price ranges. Best thing for you to do is look in the yellow pages and look up automotive paint suppliers. They'll let you know what products they have available and how much it will cost. They also gave me a sample of the paint to look at before buying it to see if I liked it. It was better than buying online because they had different shades of that color that I was able to look at. I also spent $100 renting a paint booth for a day.
