I have a 94 Accord-5-speed that I will be using in an endurance race(see 24hoursofLemons.com).
I noticed it has a bit of a rough idle, but strangely when the fuel pump is turned off(via switch due to race requirements) the idle becomes smooth & seems to run "leaner/normal" without black smoke out the exhast. My thinking is a fuel pressure regulation problem, but it should be better when the RPM's increase?? It seems to fall flat mid to upper RPM power. Low end is just fine. Can you put me on the right path??
