My 96 civic auto. just got a blown head
What should i do
should i just sell it or should i swap the engine
I don't have enough many to buy another car untill next fall and my uncle said it would cost 800 to do the engine swap. I need a car to go to school

if u have money do it your self.
it cost me around 300 for parts and my time
maybe less if u dont get all the expensive parts like me.

there is plenty of diy's on this. google is ur friend.

 

Just replaced head

 

Find a good shell for a head on craigslist, build it back up and slap it on.

Probably won't be more than $300 or less if you get a good deal on the head and can do the work yourself.
