need help ordering drag radials. must place the order soon!!

Default need help ordering drag radials. must place the order soon!!

i need to place an order for tires soon for tomorrow. i looked at the sticky and it said i should be running 195/45 for 15"oem's. i looking to get BF drag radials for my b20v bubble. any suggestions? i think im going to use 205/50/15 bc they said the tires was made not to expand.

any info is appreciated

No, it doesn't. It says that if you have a pre-'96 Civic, 195/50-15 is the best 15" size for your car. (195/45-15 is an oddball size and only a crappy Toyo T1R is available in it.)

If you want to get drag radials for your car, you're going to have to get 205/50-15 because they don't come in any smaller sizes than that.

Whoever told you the tires are "made not to expand" is an idiot.

Drag radials are made with very sticky rubber (for grip) and with reinforced sidewalls that can withstand the deformation that occurs when using reduced tire pressures at the dragstrip. If these are for dragstrip use, they're fine. They're not really suitable for street use, because they're really expensive, and because they don't last very long (just a few thousand miles and they're done). If you need tires to use on the street, don't get drag radials; get a sticky street tire. The Bridgestone Potenza RE-11, Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec, and Toyo Proxes R1R are all sticky street tires that are available in 195/50-15.

thanks man i appreciate it. i just put the order in. it came to $276 138/tire
