To officially make or turbos setups street legal here in Germany we had do and pass several test. For some of these tests we had to do some engine bay videos while driving on a circuit race course.

Get some mounts for crying out loud..

 

I would like to see that tested on a circuit with a few long straights, what sort of egt's were you seeing

 

Believe me, we tested our setups on a lot of events. Even on circuits with long straights and even on some 45minute stints.
On some ciruits we had glowing exhaust systems in rear area of the car. :-)
Maybe I can try to find a way to mount a cam there.

I just found the video interesting :-)

 

That's what I was trying to get at, I could imagine the whole system glowing
