Testing waters: 00' civic si, 421 hp, runs but needs work
Before anything I'll describe the problem with the car. I drove it quite a bit last summer until it began knocking. It is somewhere in the block (have checked the head out everything is fine there). Thinking spun bearing. The car has less than 2000 miles since it was built which is how much time everything has on it. I'm a full time+ student so I don't have anytime to work on it anymore and with the good weather ending I can't count on my street bike to get me around.
I'm open to either selling it all together or parting it out (would require a person wanting a good chunk of parts for me to begin parting). Since I don't really have any rep here on honda-tech I'd prefer locally dealing (I'm around Salem, Oregon).
Salvaged title due to theft. The chassis and interior are very clean only one dime sized ding on the entire car. The chassis has around 94k on it.
Here's a list of parts to the best of my memory (have around $10k in receipts):
-KYB shocks and struts front and back (summit # KYB-741023/741024)
-Edlebrock Victor X intake manifold
- Lakewood g-sport pro traction bars (summit # LAK-50100)
-Tial 44mm wastegate blue w/ flanges (14.5 psi)
- LSD - Wavetrac diff in b16 tranny (http://www.wavetrac.net/application.htm)
- Blitz FATT
- Full blown dual fuel pump hanger w/ two walbro 255 lph's
- Hondata s300
-Apexi AVC-R boost controller
- Golden eagle pro series fuel rail
- Ramhorn b series turbo manifold, very well made
- MSD HVC II Blaster Coil
- Fluidyne high performance radiator for 92-00 civic
- HKS BOV
- 98' B20 sleeved block
- Forged rods
- Wiseco low compression forged pistons
- B16 head w/ skunk2 pro series valve springs, titanium retainers, and stage 2 tuner cams
- Twin disc clutch
- Precision turbo (forgot size, upgraded from original rev hard stg 2 kit)
- 3 inch down pipe straight into full 3 inch exhaust
- Nitrous express ntercooler w/15 lb bottle (installed but plumbing never completed)
Feel free to make an offer on the entire car or a parts bundle. I'm just trying to see if I should sell as is, part it out, or if I should just fix it and run it again. Here are a few pics, not the best quality.
