Hey everyone, first time poster here, i have this problem with my 1990 EX, when im driving slow and let go of the wheele, it goes back and forth real quick, as if my breaks are warped, how ever they are not pushed down, its just all the time this is happeneing! could it be ball joints?

That or get your wheels balanced if it happens when you don't press on the brake.

Have someone drive in another car and look at your tires... see if maybe one of the tires has a bulge or something in it... or if you can't do that just rotate the tires that way you can rule out a faulty tire.

Welcome. Yeah it's hard to impress people here.
Anyways, besides wheels/tires being out of balance could also be something unbalanced on an axle or suspension (bad wheel bearing, bushings, tie rods, end links, or ball joints). Hell, maybe the rack's about to go, but get the wheels balanced first.

I see now that the first and second post are indeed by the same person.

Vedy Sawy.

edit: I thought you were just some dipshit noob randomly posting. And a fart in a spacesuit would be less than optimal.

Would you decribe this a vibration (can you feel it when your hands are on the wheel?) or an oscillation in the wheel you get when you let go?

Vibration=axles, CV joints, etc

Osciallation=alignment, tire balance, steering problem

Are your wheels and tires OEM?

Could this at all be a bad strut? I have seen cars on the highway where a single tire is just bouncing the whole time...Not sure.

I think that you may have a bent wheel.
