the front skirt on my 08 coupe was scratched up by the corner. i asked the body shop and he said he would recommend changing it since its hard to mount it back since it mostly uses double-sided tape.

he quoted me for replacing the front bumper and skirt (both oem). all included is like 1200. i'm planning on asking if there's anyway he can repaint the left section of the skirt instead of replacing it. the problem is, i don't know whether painting it will give a smooth finish since there are several areas that were scratched (not sure how deep). altho the skirt is 1 piece, but i'm wondering if he can blend the paint to the side of the grille. i don't people will pay attention to that corner next to the grille.

what is used for mounting the oem skirt on the front of an 08 coupe? screws and dbl-sided tape? anyway he can re-mount it? would a paint job be able to cover the scratch marks? i didn't look closely, but i don't think they're so deep, but towards the lower corner, the scratched area is quite large.
