ATTN: Vancouver/B.C. ppl, has anyone done a b16 swap ?
I'm trying to find out if anyone living in the Vancouver area has paid a shop to do a b16 or b18 swap into their civic or crx (89-91)?
If so, how much did you pay?
thanks

I paid $1700 2years ago. That included the engine mounts and reprogrammed ECU, labour, tax, and misc. other stuff. I defiantly recommend A&J Racing - by far one of the best shops in Vancouver. Its not that hard of a swap you shouldn't be charged too much.
Off topic just a bit. Hey guys, me and a few friends are thinking about a trip to Vancouver this year. So how's the nightlife there? I would like to get some pointers rather than going blind. I heard something about Hastings Street? Oh, well any info is appreciated.
I would bring my civic si but a rental car will have to do. Sorry, one more. Do we need passports for the trip over the border to Canada? Or is it like Mexico where you just show your driver license when coming back across.

Hey PressurizedSi! The night life here is great, and as for Hastings Street, I think every city has one of these. I recommend avoiding this street if possible. But the rest of the city is Beautiful and there is alot to see. As for the passports I would recommend bring it if you have them or if not at least bring your birth certificate.
