Type R valve springs are dual on both the intake and exhaust I believe where as normal PR3 b16 heads come with duals on just the intake. Basically the only difference between the typeR and b16 heads are a factory port and polish, tappered intake valves, and the springs. I could be wrong and the b16 might come with single springs all around and the type R is only dual springs on the intake. Ill do some looking into it n get back to u, I've always been a turbo guy and always swapped em out every time.
