please add your two cents. just installed dropzone coilovers and the cheapest struts i could find on my 90 civic hatchback. the struts are ebays cheapest (gabreil). the stiff springs dont bother me its the rebound. after you hit a bump it keeps bouncing. or when its parked u can put your foot on the front bumper and push it up and down,and it keeps bouncing ..instead of going up once and stopping. if i buy some good struts will it solve the problem.. i know alot of people have benn thru this...and yes i searched everywhere and i still didnt get my answer ......does any one got coilovers with good struts?? THESE ARE NOT REAL COILOVERS .CHEAP SLIP OVER STYLE....AND THIS CAR IS ON A SERIOUS BUDGET THATS WHY I WENT CHEAP. also the car is not slammed ..only lowered about inch or two

 

its probably a combination of the stiff springs and cheap shocks.....you can try to change the shocks and see if it makes a difference but if it doesn't then you just blew more cash out the window.

IMO i would sell all that stuff and save up enough cash and get some decent suspension.

maybe go to autozone and buy a set of OEM replacement monroe or KYB GR2 shocks and put them in temporarily...if they help keep them...if not take them out and return them...hehe

 

Thats the **** the previous owner had on my car. Those ****ing dropzone ***got *** springs/coilovers. Shocks were blown to hell, the ride was horrible, get some good shocks before you install those ****ers because you'll regret it. Or like non-VTEC said save up and buy some real suspension, thats some cheap **** there that you're gonna regret getting.
