i am tring to strip my white axis wheels down so i can paint them gunmetal....i have tried using air craft remover...but it isn't working very well? help!!!!

 

if theres no suface damage why not just paint over them

 

trust me these things need to be striped, loved, and repainted

 

Surprised air craft remover did not work. Are the wheels painted or are they powder coated?

 

i don't know, i thought they were painted, but there si a grey etch primer under the paint.....they are white from the factory axis touring cups...it is frustrating

 

go to home depot or an equivalent hardware store and get some jasco paint remover. removes all kinds of paint (even powder coating) quickly. make sure you use some gloves. its likes acid, be very careful.
