so i read about the d16a1 pistons how theyare pop up and fit perfectly into the d16z6 and i did the comp calculator and it came to a 12:1 give or take

my question is would i need a higher octane than 93 and would v2p clearance be a big issue cuz i do plan on putting a blox stage 2 with the built head

already have a mini me with the same cam and we clayed the block and there was a lot of clearance but its a stock d16a6 block witha z6 head

and any suggestions for street/strip performance would be greatly appreciates!!
