Depends really.

I measured an auto H22a engine tb before and found it actually smaller than the H23a1 which was a manual.

I did it on here awhile ago, and couldnt tell you where the thread is.

Some say they are both the same size, which they might be if it is a manual vs manual

i have and h22 and h23 tb and the h22 is smaller than the h23 don't know why the h22 is a jdm 5 speed

 

I also found the TB on my JDM H22 to be smaller than my US H23. It may only be the front tube, where your intake connects, with the same size of butterflies, but there is a large difference. I couldn't use my intake on the H22 TB, it was way too small.

And for the record my H22 was an auto obdI.

crazy stuff, i was wondering cuz i have an 0bd1 jdm h22a t.body and a h23, i have the h23 on right now cuz my jdm h22 didnt come with a tps so it just sits here.i never measured them against each other.
