95 civic automatic: Does it have a lock up torque converter?

95 civic automatic: Does it have a lock up torque converter?
just picked up a 95 civic dx with 203K miles. Doesn't seem like the torque converter is locking up...begs the question: does it even have a lock up torque converter? Searched the interwebs and couldn't find any info...I know my 90 accord auto did...

answered my own question...yes it does have a lock up torque convert. No it does not lock up with a stuck open thermostat. No, O'Reillys, 170 degrees is not the OE temperature for the thermostat, which causes it to only lock up under enough load to warm the motor up. 180 would be the correct temp.

here's another question, why's that colder thermostat in there in the first place? was some one trying to keep it from over heating?
