Help: Converting your car from auto to manual
Hey all, can anyone tell me what it will cost approx. to convert my 91 civic 4dr to manual? Also, do they have to do any major surgery on your car to get the different set of pedals in?
thanks!
all info is appreciated!

I'm a n00b when it comes to working on my car, I was gonna get a shop to do it for me, just wondering if anyone can gimme an idea on the price.

guarantee a shop will charge about a grand for that install, whereas you could do it on your own for less than half of that. maybe 400 at the most.
they dont make a motor mount kit for that yet that i know of ~ auto mounts and 5 spd mounts are in different places. so you would have to make a custom mount. I have done it once but its very very ugly. good luck
oh yea i forgot...ull need the si or any manual tranny mounts..i figured this out the hard way when u put my zc in!
theres 3 tranny mounts and 1 motor mount..
ohyea..u dont need to wled or any stupid chit like that..justt need the manual tranny mounts and move the back tranny mount to the left..theres already holes to do it also!

I converted mine from auto to manual while doing a B16 swap.. It just seems to make sense instead of having to just buy a tranny, buy the whole package.
