Hey all, can anyone tell me what it will cost approx. to convert my 91 civic 4dr to manual? Also, do they have to do any major surgery on your car to get the different set of pedals in?

thanks!

all info is appreciated!

well if u buy all the **** ur self and then have them install it it will be cheaper..
u need
si tranny

flywheel
shift linkage
manual pedal assembly(bitch of all to install!!)
..u can get all of that at a junkyard...cept for a new clutch. also ull want the flywheel to be resurfaced

guarantee a shop will charge about a grand for that install, whereas you could do it on your own for less than half of that. maybe 400 at the most.

they dont make a motor mount kit for that yet that i know of ~ auto mounts and 5 spd mounts are in different places. so you would have to make a custom mount. I have done it once but its very very ugly. good luck

I converted mine from auto to manual while doing a B16 swap.. It just seems to make sense instead of having to just buy a tranny, buy the whole package.
