I'm in the market for an Exedy clutch. Should I go with stage 1 or 2 if I'm making 221whp and 202wtq on a b18b? Thanks.

I'm aware that Exedy has torque capacity ratings but they're not very clear imo.

 

Do you plan on making more power or are you satisfied with those numbers? If you want to upgrade in the future, I'd go with the Stage 2

 

No that's pretty much as far as I'm gonna go. The thing is I think already where I'm at power-wise, I'm a little higher than the stage 1 can handle. I'm afraid it won't hold it for very long if I go with stage 1.

 

exedy stage 1 will hold that easy i was making 284whp on a b20vtec and never had a problem
