got a 95 dx hatch just recently traded for. once i put my radio and connected the cords the radio still doesnt work. was wondering if this happend to anyone before. any one got any ideas or where i should start first?

Did you check the radio fuses? The under hood 7.5 amp back up and the 15 amp in the fuse box?

 

ive checked all the fuses under the hood and there good
i dont have the diagram of fuses on the driver side, would it be one of those and if so which one

 

Check all of them. Do you have a dvm?

 

dvm? could the radio plug be a factor because it doesnt have one lol

 

or check the wires again

So the factory plug was cut off

 

yeah its just not there

 

your going to have to either hard wire the radio to the aftermarket radio harness or get the factory harness and wire it back to the cut off harness.

if your strapped on cash just hard wire the radio in.

I know on my 95 Civic EX, the radio and cigarette lighter are on the same fuse. You MAY try looking at the under dash fuse box. If all of them are fine, I would look for a short in the power wire or the ground wire.

 

today i hard wired the ground and changed some fuse's and still nothing.my clock is not working either, could that be a problem too?

 

have you checked the clock fuse??
