crispy rotor - should i swap 'em?
take a look; this is a picture of my front rotors. they obviously aren't new! i'm wondering if the rotor is now worthless or the stress cracking doesn't affect performance. my R's braking seems a bit off lately, but i'm unsure if it's the pads or these rotors. the pads are oem and never tracked but lots of autox.
notice there is a much more shiny ring on the outer/inner circumference but the middle area is heavily stress cracked.
much thanks to we-todd-id-racing for hosting the picture!

take them off and to a shop that cut rotors see if they could cut them and still have enough meat to stop ya. Should only cost between 10-20 per rotor to cut, No more then 20 each.
if you can see the heat cracks go really deep then you might have to replace

nah, i'd just buy some new autozone specials before resurfacing these.
the rotors got this way from 3 track sessions using panther plus pads.
