Need 4040 prop valve diagram
Hey guys like the title states doing a ABS delete/ brake line tuck and i got the 4040 valve but cant seem to find a clear diagram for which lines go to what port. The valve itself just has a "R" stamped on 2 ports which assuming means "Rear" (not sure) . Anyway any help here would be appreciated. Thanks...
It should not matter the proportions are equal. The two lines from the BMC go to the 2 inlets and the 4 go to the cylinders. Just make sure the pairs that are side by side are together going to either the front or back.
thanks bj for telling me something i dont know.... im asking which one to know which diagram to post. i need to scan it out my books first and i dont feel like doing it for all of them
Red=MC
Blue=front
Green=back
(blue and green can be reversed, does not matter just keep them together)
Here:
Thanks beedoublejay thats exactly the prop valve i have, i searched and couldnt find a good diagram been searching brake tucks for a while also and looking at pics but couldnt tell which line went where so thanks this is definately helpful.

Hi, I have an Integra 40/40 prop valve and it is in my 94 accord. I installed it in the position the old prop valve was in with the two ports side going out the back and connected them to the rear brake lines.
I bought new OEM non abs accord brake lines for the front and they lined up with the front of the prop valve. Now I have one opening on each of the blu and green for the master cylinder lines.
IUt looks like you are saying that I have it all wrong. I have been looking at other pics and can barely make out what they are doing. Can you please confirm this must be as you described it?
