Default Wont start after changing timing belt

i just change the timing belt of my prelude 2000 H22A4 but now that i put everything back in place it just dont start, feels like if does not have fuel but i checked filter, fuel pump and fuses.

i changed the belt because it got ripped, do you think that the valves suffered any damage?

i use the diagram from this link.

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-prelude-4/01-prelude-timing-belt-install-2591869/

really helpfull BTW.

Do a compression and leakdown test.

I would check back over the timing marks, and firing order.

Any resolution to the issue? Did the car start? I have a similar issue which I will post shortly.

timing belt teeth being off usually seems like a fuel problem. i know it's not as easy putting on a new belt as it is marking an old one and putting it back on exactly right.

if you weren't in vtec, i wouldn't worry about jacked up valves. it's still worth doing checks, but don't stress over it until you get your numbers.
