Let's troubleshoot. What's the mileage?
What maintenance has been done for the fuel and ignition system? (Plugs, plug wires, distributor, etc.)
Where was the body work? Anywhere near any wiring? If you were (even somewhat close) go back and check for any loose/disconnected wiring.

145,562 miles. had rear quarter panel damage. Bumper too.. I just checked the wiring connections for the bumper. It appears that one wire is broken off of one of the wire connectors. Connector could be for back break light.
Thank you for your response

I can reconnect if you think that that may be it...

If it is just for a brake light then most likely not... haha, if it somehow did make the car start though I'd be freakin' amazed. That would be pretty messed up.
One way to find out though. You'll need your brake lights anyway so definitely connect it.
Need answers to my other questions though to go further... unless it starts by making that connection of course.

By the way your Private Message box is saying it is full so check your PM settings in your user control panel.
Here is what I tried to respond with:
Like I said, go ahead and reconnect it. If it's for the license plate light(s) you'll need it for legal reasons anyway.
When I asked about the body work, I was checking to see if any was done near the engine bay to see if anything "essential" for engine operation may have been messed with. Since it sounds like there wasn't, I would focus on previous maintenance for now.
Has any of the ignition system been replaced recently? How many miles do the spark plugs have on them? Are the plug wires in good shape and are they securely connected?
The problem sounds like a fuel or ignition issue, though is the car cranking over?

Ok, well we REALLY need to know what the deal is with your ignition, fuel system, and if there are CEL's (good add MuffinMan) to move forward. That fact that it cranks is good, now we can keep moving forward and eliminating causes.
Look at my previous post for what questions we need answers to for that. And obviously if you have codes please have them checked and let us know what they are.
If you honestly don't know, that's fine, but we can't help you a whole lot without specific information.
