it was a fun run while it lasted.
42k mi, 7 years owned, 2 cross country road trips, 1 failed theft attempt, countless track days, late nights, bloody knuckles, swear words, laughs friends and memories.
i'll miss you typie!!!! <3 <3 <3 i feel like i just got rid of my first love.... it was good but i knew we just weren't right for each other anymore... not here in seattle... maybe if i were in toronto but she just didn't have room to stretch her legs here like she needed.
muahmuahmuah

((typie was an 01 CDM and sold in her mostly stock form with dc5r wheels & recaros, + jdm front for 14,5$ if anyone was curious (so hard to see what going rates are these days) to a local buyer.))

oh man...i remember meeting you oh so many years ago, perhaps 3 or 4 lol. I met you through Brian, a mutual friend. It was either at Kennedy Commons, or at Woodbine/16th area. We talked about tracking together, but never did lol. I had a black DC4 then, have a PY now.
Anyway, sad to see you let heR go after so long, but things change I guess. I can't even picture letting mine go. Cherish the memories!
Hope all is well!

I know how you feel. I just sold my 98 after only owning it for 1 year and 8 months. I did put more miles on it than you, but only had one good, long trip with it to Wyoming. That was one of the most memorable trips ever cause I did it with my Dad. He loved driving it. I had to leave my 97 behind for him to take care of for the next few years. Sad, sad days.
awwwww.....well, once part of the club, always part of the club
shoulda kept the CDN rears for sentimental purposes, and so when they go up in price in 20 years, you'll have them

wow that sucks Lori,
i'm actually debating about selling mine as well, i don't get to enjoy it enough. it will be hard, but i guess we'll see what happens and where it will take me.
good luck with everything!

hi all, thanks for the well wishes.
it definitely wasn't easy to part ways. :crybaby: man, i miss the h-t crew!!!! so many good people i've met on here
yessss what is next, that is the burning question!!!! few things i'm trying to keep in mind:
- i don't go to the track as much anymore. if i wanted to, maybe i'd hold onto the miata just for that.
- ...so it might come down to having a sweet daily to ride the strip and pick up hos
... few ideas:
- just rock the 911. she's a beaut afterall. else sell her too and look at others...
- of course, lotus elise in arctic white (don't want the exige, too much powah)...
- if i had more ppl around to help, an elise with a DC2R swap would be ideal
- c6 vette...
i know, i've made fun of domestics for so long, but dang these are nice
- ^^^ for the above reason i wouldn't consider a gtr... reading i've done indicates the vette would be a better fit for me. oh and i'm not that baller.
- supra TT.. had one in my care for a while and it was a hoot. but.. so big...
driving it back to back on the track with the R was tough, i like small momentum cars.
(but if i'm not driving a lot on the track these days anyways, maybe it doesn't matter... )
-today's idea: save up for another year and find a rebuilt ferrari 360. muahaha. when i first moved out here i came up with a scheme to own italian by the time i turned 30. of course that meant i wasn't buying a house or going out for 5 years, but whatever! (i cheated and got motorcycles, but it'd still be cool to meet that goal!)
-maybe some sorta bmw...thingy.. white... -_-"
ahhhhh. car ADD. bikes are so much easier..
848 might turn into a hyper motard next. haha.
