ok, so i am on coilovers, dropped a couple inches. and i had steelies and normal cheapo tires with no tread. car handled tight and true

i put 16x7 wheels with 205/45/16 khumo ecsta tires on, put on a stock type R wing, and put on a carbon fiber front lip

the car now feels weird, more noticably at speed. when i turn it feels like the front moves and then the rear follows afterwards, you know? i know theres a term for this but i forgot, its been over a year since i studied suspension dynamics.

is this neccessarily a bad thing? maybe its just a bit of tendancy to oversteer i'm feeling, which can be good, but i dont think so. feels odd. let me know whats going on and how to fix it if i should!

 

i noticed significant camber wear on the old tires. maybe my horrible alignment is just more noticeable with 16" wheels/low profile tires than with the 14" wheels and endless sidewall tires? i think a camber kit is in order.. why dont people ever do it at the same time they install lowering equipment.... (i bought it with coilovers)

 

i'm pretty sure i've located my problem. as i was on bald tires, i had no tread squirm. i think im just experiencing normal tread squirm.
