Civic braking noise Problemo!
When I step on the brakes and slow down, I hear a squeaking or croaking noise which sounds like a flat tire of some sort. This only happens while I'm about to come to a complete stop. I also hear some other noises while accelerating. But its not as bad as when I come to a complete stop. Is it a brake problem? Anyone with similar problems?
Already did:
Checked tires/wheels
Checked the brake pads
Checked the rotors
Checked the calipers
Checked the axles
Checked the splash shield that goes around the rotors to see if there was rubbing.

Also wanted to point out that when I brake a bit, you can hear a squeaking noise that goes squeek sqeek squeek. You can hear it when you barely apply pressure to the brake pedals. But then it goes away when you press it hard but then the other flat tire noise comes. HELP!
the squeaking is the rotor to pad. the churning squeek is from sumthing turning.
do you have ABS? honda abs has been known go be crap. actualy abs from any compay at that.

I do not have abs however I am using abs axles. But I've been using them for a while and it never made that kind of noise. I guess I will recheck the pads and rotors again. I will just take it all apart.
*more to the story. I believe it started going bad and making those weird noises after I sped up from a ramp to merge into the freeway. I remember as soon as I hit vtec, I heard the motor or something shifted. So I checked and the passenger axle was leaking. I then replaced it yesterday with an axle from autozone thinking that it was the leaking axle that contributed to that noise. It wasn't
