Hi, I have a 92' SI hatchback and was wonderingg if I should get a paint job. The orginal color is Red and I'm wishing to paint it Black. Any advice to paint it or not ? I'm planning to sand of the orginal paint then spray over with new Black paint. Although the bay and interior will still be red, what do you guys think? Any feedback is fine, I've recieved em all before. thanks

 

Well if you're going to do all the work to get rid of the red, you might as well do the engine bay and door jambs while your at it.

 

Why would you ask a forum about if you should get a paint job? Like SERIOUSLY.

How come eg owners are getting stupider on this forum?

BTW everyone should i wash my car with hot or cold water? im not sure.

it WILL look like **** if you only paint the outside and leave the bay and jams red.

also agree.... if you have to have a black car and can't paint your car correctly then just sell the red one and go black

 

true get a black car man if not uand ur willing to do the work paint the jams and engine bay do it right and ull be happy if not like stated above start over
