smogging a ls motor with gsr airbox

i was wondering if u could smog a ls motor with gsr airbox legally, do i need to connect the hoses too to make it pass smog?

Legally, no.

Will the tech even notice and pass it anyway if the readings are good? Probably.

What's the advantage of having a GSR air box? Just throw your ls one in for smog inspection then throw a intake on once your done, its easy enough
