soon to be running a poormans R with a JRSC at 10 lbs. is 2.5 inch still ok for this setup of is 3 inch really neccessary?

also, is there a difference in the eg6 exhuast length as opposed to the eg2 del sol? the eg chasis is pretty interchangeable with the exception of the eg4 4 door. usually i wouldnt have an issue or would have asked this but i really would like to purchase the J's Racing Circuit Muffler Ti 60RS for my del sol, but its made for an eg6 and i just dont want to hack up a piece of art work such as that. any imput would be helpful...
