Icon6 My Dope homemade "comptech" intake

Still a work in progress but id figure i would share for more opinions/thoughts

unsure on hose selection to from "mani" to mani...

Metal Filter charger box..all custom fabbed, has "L" 3 inch pipe running to the lower fog/bumper duct point, funneling the air into the chamber and to the filter/intake.

Yes because everything here has to be perfectly made out of cnc machined titanium with a perfectly wire tucked engine bay.

Really???

To the OP, I personally dont like it, as there are other options just as cheap and a little easier on the eyes. I dont like it as it makes that engine bay look like a ford escort zx2 engine bay. But Kudos to you on your way to becoming a fabricator. Time, imagination, experience, tools and most of all patience will have you turning out amazing fab work.

Not really seeing where you get the hater stuff from. NO one here said that it doesnt work or is not functional. Everyone said it looks like *** thats all.

function is always over form.

I think it is a good idea and you are off to a pretty good start. However, the execution needs some work. I think with a little time and some practice you will have something really nice.

Holy **** man, simple green and some time would do you more good than that intake. Probably drop 50lbs of dirt.

I give credit for this.. Maybe dosen`t look nice, but when he put light green, blue color on it, then will look nice

HE made this! Ghetto or not, this is fabrication... You others guys go and buy ARC stuff and others brands..

So big difference is from MADE, FABRICATE to BUY some air box, filter..

^^^ im trying to be nice, but the only thread that "intake" belongs in is the worst fabrication thread. Looks like another 500$ civic off of craigslist.

^ It did make it to the Worst Fabrication thread, how I found it

To the OP, in the amount of time it's taken you to construct that.... thing.... you could have degreased your entire engine bay. Make the rest of the bay look decent and it might just make your "intake" look a bit more acceptable.
