I just got home form a week long trip to San Diego. One thing I noticed there, was that like 90% of Honda's and Acura's are missing their and emblems. Even the otherwise stock cars are this way.

At first, I thought that it was the "cool thing" to take them off. But the more I payed attention, I noticed that EVERYONE had them off, from rice to stock. Even on older ones.

Anyone know why this is?

 

haha yea cus little kids take em off and put em on their backpacks. i swear if i ever catch one of them midgets doing that ****...

 

yeah, one little **** tried to take mine out but broke em and scratched my hatch while doing so ...I just took em off when I had my car painted

you figure someone is gonna jack your ****, and probably dent or scratch up your car in the process. So take that thing off and save some paint and bondo!

 

I kinda figured that someone was jacking them. Couldn't just be a coincidence that EVERYONE in the damn city had them taken off.

Mine are off for that exact reason. No need to have the hood or hatch painted again for someone that want my .

the new jettas have them integrated into the grill, well yesterday I saw one missing. The grill was all messed up. Thats so sad.
