Icon2 tie-rod end

soo i go to jack up my car thinking a ball joints loose to find that a tie-rod end popped off, how can this happen on its own? like 2 days ago it was fine and tight

nvm i answered my own question lol but when i replace it do i need to replace both sides?

No you don't have too. They are not a matching set. The old adage is if it ain't broke don't fix it. I tend to stick to that method when fixing my car. Others would say that you might as well do both for piece of mind. When one goes, the other isn't far behind. However, that's not always true.
