Icon3 Scammer Alert! User "sNailboat" BEWARE

Alright it all started Jun 4, 10. I made a thread stating "WTB: Skunk2 B Series Throttle Body". Original thread link here: http://hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=2786378 . On Jun 9, 10 "sNailboat" messaged me stating he had one for sale, I lost the original message because my mailbox was a new user size and could only hold like 5 messages total.

I replied back to him with this message...

"Hey bud, I had another user on here offer me one with sensors and a new gasket for $160, might seem like a bit of a low ball but if you did $140 I would take it and paypal you the money tonight. Thanks! ".

He replied with... "ohh okay, well i guess i can do $140 shipped, ha.
I actually have the sensor, but it's used. I can throw in the sensor for $10 bucks.
Well if you want to do that. just let me know.

Thanks.
-Jon."

I replied back with... "Alright that sounds fair, I will do that. If you wanted to toss in the sensors that would be cool . Does it come with the gasket too?"

He replied back with... "Okay, cool, ha.

Yeah, and of course it comes with the gasket, haha. DUH! It's brand new too!

-Jon."

A couple days went by I still never got his paypal... I messaged him again...
"Hey bud haven't heard for you in a couple days what is your pay pal address I will send you the funds for the TB. Thanks!"

He replied back with..."Ohh crap, i thought i replied back to you....no!?! Haha.

Well if i didn't or if the message didn't go through, here's the PayPal, it's michaelhuang47@yahoo.com.

Let me know when you send the money to the PayPal so i can confirm and verify the payment.

Thank you.
-Jon"

At that point I sent the payment of $140 through paypal to him and replied..."Haha alright its all good, I sent the money and my Inbox finally got enlarged to 500 messages from 3 so I can now receive replies haha"

He replied..."Haha. nice nice!
Yeah, 500 is the one you're suppose to be at, ha.

And i just received your payment. I'll send out the throttle body out on Friday morning and hope you're okay with that.

Thanks.
-Jon."

I replied ... "Alright that sounds good man! Thanks again!"

That was the last I have heard from him...

I had messaged him on Jul 13, 10..."Hey man haven't got the TB yet just wondering if you have a tracking number for it so I can take a look where it is?"

No reply

Again on Jul 19, 10 after I seen he had been logged in since then..."Did you find a tracking number?"

No reply

Sep 2, 10 I messaged him again and posted on his wall..."Hey are you getting my PM's??? "

No reply

So I pretty much figure that is the end of that I am going to report him to the mods here and hope they ban him so no one else gets scammed from him. BTW he has logged in multiple times since I have sent messages asking where it is and no reply...

You waited too long, should've filed with paypal earlier. You seem like you've been on other forums before so I'll tell you right now that compared to any other forums, automotive ones are way behind in terms of protecting buyers and sellers. If you choose to do anything on here then its your choice and even after getting scammed mods won't really do much for you.

Unfortunately I sent the payment as a gift so there was nothing I could do with paypal regarding a transaction for "non-goods" purchase, I realize I am out the money. I am just notifying other potential buyers from this seller. I also live in Canada so I realize shipping can take a month so that is the reason I waited so long to create this thread at this point I have considered the money gone.
