Default it's already been covered.. LINK??

it has to have been covered, at some point or another. I need to know what properly working crank-rod-piston combos there are for the H23..? I would like to keep my 23 block, and hopefully my 23 crank. but I cannot find any rods for it, cheaper than $1K.. whether my crank is balanced or not, it will be. so H23 block and crank.. can I use H22 rods? with what pistons? and can anyone give me a straight answer?? can I use eagle rods on oem H/F pistons??

What do you want to do? It's well hidden in your post.

lol, I want to keep my H23 block and crank. I'm going to toss on a vtec head in a few months, and I'd like to toss in a set of eagle rods when I pull the motor down, along with a set of pistons(h22 for more compression. I want to trim a little bit of rotational weight for a little more reliability under higher rpm's. I know I'm not trimming alot off of the weight, but I would be able to operate in my top end a bit better with every gram shaved off. my problem is that I cannot find any rods for H23 under $1000.. so if I can come up with a combo(h22 eagle rods+whatever pistons.. and my 23 block and crank I would love that. the plan is to have a new set of pistons thermal coated(piston head only.. and run a bit of race fuel at the track not looking to build a full drag racer, but I think I can grab a decent time with that internal setup. so can I run a setup like this or do I need to adopt an H22 crank to achieve this? I know the blocks are the same h22 h23, and from my understanding the 2.3 has a shorter rod+longer stroke and vise versa for the 2.2..? ((H22-stroke*90.7mm*rod length*143.00mm*piston compression height*31.00mm--H23-stroke*95.00mm*rod length*141.5mm*compression height*30.55mm*)) ??? HELP

F23A pistons are 86mm diameter, they don't fit in H blocks.

Take a look for Probe rods for H23 (I believe these are correct, but check this out http://www.probeindustries.com/Probe...th_p/12040.htm) or you may consider this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H23-F...Q5fAccessories

You need H23 crank, any H block (H22 or H23), H23 rods and H22 pistons of your choice.
