Anyone have PasswordJDM tri brace in EG hatch?
Having fittiment issues with it. Have Skunk2 Pro' S coilovers.
Seeing if anyone has had the same problems. I think I am going to have to get a dremmel and make the mounting holes on the bar longer to fit over all the strut tower threads.

You might have a bent frame??? How far off are the holes?
In regards to the product, I like the way it looks but the portion that mounts to the firewall isnt the most sturdy place to mount it.
Its just sheet metal and thats it. So will you get any benefit(stiffening) from it, I have my doubts.
I use the DC sports shock tower model 2 point. Its adjustable.
Then again there are those who say the braces dont help much anyway.

is the car still on the ground? we installed on on my friends car and it was easier to jack the car up and loosen the coilovers so they dropped down out of the bay a little bit.
doing that gave it the room to fit right in.

I'm no suspension guru, but in what I've read and in my experience hearing the creeking of my 23 year old CRX lugging 2500 lb around, the more chassis bracing, the better. Sure, some may be more strategically placed, but a FSB is not a total waste of money.

on a strut based car, yes. because all the load goes right through the strut tower in one spot. i put one on my old strut based car and it made a great improvement. i put one on and off 3 of my civics in various layouts and it never made a bit of difference.
cause it makes the engine bay look nice. it doesn't make a bit if difference. but if you would like to believe Honda put them there for some special handling gains, go ahead.

But the inboard mounts of the upper control arm are in the same vicinity as the top of the shock, so the cornering forces imparted to the chassis at the UCA inboard mount can be triangulated by the attachment of the FSB at the shock tops.
However, since you said there was no change in lap times, I guess it just doesn't work.
