Icon2 drive without sway bar bushings

I was in the process of changing out my sway bar end links and bushings. I was doing the front and the bolts that hold on the bushing...3 of 4 of the bolt heads sheared off.
Is it okay to drive a short distance to the shop without the bushings in there?

My concern was without the bushings if the new end links i put in would get destroyed.
I ended up just putting the old bushings there, and then put in the only bolt for 1 of the bushing clips in. I think it all went okay. I drove slow and didn't do any suden turns.
