'99 H22A Prelude Power Sterring Grind
So I rebuilt my pump. While doing so I messed up on 2 things.
First I put the fins in backwards. Second when setting the bearing in I slipped and hit the middle where the red part is (also where the bearings are).
I put it in the car and I attempted to bleed out the air. After about 20 mins I gave up and let it cool. Today I switch the fins on the inside of the pump to the correct position (beveled edge outwards), reinstalled back in car, bleed air out.
Now there isn't any bubbles in the reservoir however it makes a LOUD grind noise when turning the wheels to the left and a slight grind when turning it to the right.
Should I replace the bearing again since I hit the middle? Could there be metal shavings in the system from the fins being in the incorrect position? Or is there still air in the system and I'm just not seeing it in the reservoir?
Thanks,
