Hey guys - I have been busy lately but I finally found some time for the R this weekend.

I have a few issues right now.

1st - DC Error on my alpine deck which relates to no sound coming out of the speakers - put the stock ITR radio in and it doesn't give me an error but still no sound. I did just recently install a s2000 cluster setup so I"m thinking I forgot to plug something up or a wire is pinched but does anyone know the EXACT cause of this ???

2nd- After my last track day, my R has been acting up a little bit. I went off course on one of the last laps and ever since, I have had a high idle issue. I noticed the rubber hose coming off the intake manifold was lose but I reconnected it and the idle is now better but randomly it will jump up to 2300 and then when I give it a slight rev, it will drop back down.

The issue is annoying so I"m not sure whats up???

3rd - I have noticed some white/blue smoke out of the exhaust. It doesn't do it right away but if the car is idling for a little bit, it will start smoking. I"m not sure whats going on with it but I would like to know the problem. The car still has the same power, etc, but what do you guys think is the cause? I know its running rich but could this be something super serious??

2nd one could be a dirty iacv...seafoam helped fix mine in the past on my gsr..it didnt do it alot to begin with just once every blue moon but hasnt since...

 

Ok. Ill try to point you in the right direction. 1st yes the wiring for your radio does have something to do with the cluster. Get a schematic and
start looking.

2nd might be your iacv acting up. Take it off and try cleaning it, or replace it. Also check to if that hose that came disconnected doesnt have a pinch in it somewhere.

3rd. Do a compression test. Chances are it may be the rings, but with what you said it might just be valve seals.
