Default Different Size Tires on Car?

Hi, Would it make any difference if i have 195/50 in the front and 195/55 in the back? Or it is better to have same aspect ratio on all four? Thanks!

it shouldnt matter. the main thing is that you have the same size on each side (example driver and passenger front same size).

It's not a good idea on any car that came with four identical tires; it's best to use the same tire size all around.

well the size is the same 195 but the ASpect/Wall sizes would be a little different.

195/55-15 is a different size from 195/50-15. Don't do it.

It may not be ideal, but having two different sizes is not a problem. One winter, I ran 185/60/14 snow tires in the back and 185/65/14's in the front. Thats just what I had on hand. Just make sure to keep the same sizes side by side and you will be fine.

Not sure what you are doing with your car. One nice advantage of same size is easy rotation without changing front to rear balance. This can help with wear, obviously. That might be less important with snow tires for winter. I drive few miles on snow tires and do not worry much about rotation. I may worry about traction, not so much about sidewall and lateral grip. Many cars come with different sizes, but then that is the point, they come that way because someone figured out what was best. If I had different sizes and wanted to use them, then I would recognize the limitations, but I would not but them that way. Thereare many tire size charts that give rolling radius, as Nsxtacy noted, they are not the same tire.

My question is, what are you trying to accomplish by doing that?
