Whats goin on fellas. So as some may know, I ditched the ILP stage 1 kit and started a new project. I have a guy here by the name of John Russakoff (Formula Drift driver www.JSPFab.com) who is making me a custom Sidewinder manifold for my setup. Once all said and done, it will be an equal length sidewinder and should hopefully produce some sick power! Here's the setup so far!

My goal is 600whp on E85

This is a great working progress.. what are u doing to the rear end to hold the power?

 

The ID1000's are good for about 580-620 range depending on the dyno but with fuel at 100psi base pressure. As for the rear end.. hahaha nothing man. I baby shift this car anyways and am not worried about destroying the tranny/diff, but trust me, its in the back of my mind every time I shift.

Once money comes my way again, the diff will be the next thing to upgrade. Its like $1500-3500

 

I think the injectors will hold just fine with the inline bosch pump!.... cant wait to see the results!

I want to see the 3" downpie squeezed in there.
Doesn't look like a lot of room.

 

If you're refering to the dark weld at the base of the collector it's from welding the inside of that joint after welding the outside. It just loses it's color from the lack of argon on the outside. Same reason all the welds lose their color after it's been run on an engine and gotten red hot. If your refering to every other weld then I've got nothing haha.

 

Lol yeah I was talkin bout the ones right on top that looks like too much filler or not enough heat. But they don't look to puuurrrtyyy.

 

Welds seem fine to me. Ive seen welds that look flawless... and they cracked, from a very reputable welder on these forums.

are you going to have him fab something for your overflow tank rather than the zip tie fab lol?

 

Look at the pic homo, I bought a bracket lol. I dont plan on relocating the battery or the fuse box. I have a custom made heat shield which will also be wrapped in gold reflective foil. Yes there will be heat generated but look at Mase's and Inline Pro's sidewinder kits. It should produce about the same amount of heat right?

I do plan on relocating the battery one day, just not right now.

Of course Keith, you me and the pics! Yeah he's making the intake for it today along with a VTEC solenoid heat shield lol. He made a pretty dope custom heat shield to replace the stock one. Its wrapped up in 2000 deg wrap as well. Dude youre gonna love it man.

 

nissan rear end with the inlinepro kit will be the way to go for the weak rearend replacement
