so i wake up early as i do every race day to cue up my d/l's via RU. i go and check out the msg boards i frequent and come across this sad news. he was involved in a highspeed accident this morning at Misano. he was one of fav. up and coming riders... godspeed shoya.

-probably the worst site I've witnessed on television. I am watching the moto2 race right now and feel horrible to actually witness it. No red flag, race not stopped. Poor DeAngellis, I cannot begin to think what he's going through.
We all know motorsports are dangerous, its still sad when things like this happens, technology has come to a point were we think nothing will ever happen on the track.
It has been two sad GP weekends, shoya was a great rider and peter was probably on his was to become the next GOAT.

Unbelievable. I was hoping to see Tomizawa reach the GP class one day. Now I had no idea Peter Lenz died. That was one amazingly skilled young rider who for sure would have made it big time. Definitely a sad time.
