I am in the process of manufacturing Spoon style lips for the "EF" platform.
I need to know if the same lip spoiler would fit the CRX, hatch, and 4 door Civic.
It will be made either in black or white ABS plastic.
I would like to know how many people would be honestly (as in I'd buy it) interested in something like that.
I am keeping this thing simple, no custom lips, no carbonfiber.
The lip will look eactly like the spoon lip, but it will fit and bolt just like the OEM
honda lip.
I am keeping the retail price at $135, to recuperate tooling, prototype and run costs. I will be making a profit on it, not much but enough to make it happen.

Depending on how it looked when finished i may be in , i have been looking for a aftermarket lip for a long time.

I believe Hatch and CRX would be very similar if not the same...

4Door & SW never came with a lip but do require a little bit more convincing to get them to take the stock crx/hatch lip

 

The hatch and CRX lips do have minor differences. Also take into consideration that the 88-89 and 90-91 crx lips are slightly different as well. I'm not sure if the hatchback lips are different in those years.

88-89 crx lips are different from 90-91... i have a 88 crx if you make one for my car i'll buy it... if not maybe i'll put on a 90-91 front bumper for the lip

I'll take one for both my 89 crx, and my 90 civic hatch. I hope it looks just like it though. Anyone got pics of this spoon lip, from which ever year hes replicating it from ? I wanna photoshop it on, to see how it fits.

Btw, I have close to 10 friends that would take one too.

yeah. i think d_16_a is right all models have different lips. maybe you could make some sort of universal EF application. i dont think id buy one but $135 for plastic is too cheap to pass up. why not the charge/ext-force one or the j's racing one?

 

Everyone is too lazy to find a pic ? lol... i had to find one my self... I desided to throw it on one of the ht members cars.. Just happens to have the Sir front end. This is the CF version of the lip. I say it looks sexy as hell. I would deffinetly get 2. Black plastic would look just as good.

If this'll fit an '89 4dr I want one. Which reminds me...wouldn't the lip need to be different for 88-89 and 90-91 models since the bumpers are quite different?
