Default Hey i just have a question

I have a 98 lude and i was wandering what kind of voltage this car is running on, my dad thinks it a 12volt, and i wasnt sure, the problem im having is that my fuses for my tail lights keeps blowing on my and i have no idea how to stop it its not a short of ground and my tail lights are after market if you can help me out it would be appreciated

12v, negative ground.

the fuse is blowing probably because there is a short or higher-than-the-fuse-is-rated-for draw coming from the bulbs. are there LED bulbs in the tail lights? how long have the tail lights been installed vs. how long this fuse issue has been occuring?
