Obd1 gsr engine: Precision 650cc saturated injectors won't fit.
i am installing precision 650cc saturated injectors. This is an obd1 gsr engine. The problem is when i go to put them in the injector clips they only go half way and then stop. While the stock ones go in perfectly. They look almost exactly the same besides a small plastic piece in the middle of the 650cc injector clip part. I have no idea my why they dont fit. I also just tried putting them in my old obd1 d15 engine and they wont go all the way into those clips either. The package has a sticker on it that says 650cc honda injectors too.

RonJ@HT, I think the title is clear. He cannot get the injectors to fit.
Luke G., you have two options. You can cut your oem clips off and buy Precision clips. The downside of this is that it costs more money and you have more joints and have to order the clips. One of my friends did this. It's fine and some people prefer it.
The easy solution is taking a knife or Dremel tool and just trimming that little ridge out of the inside of the connector part on the injector. If you put the Precision injector and an OEM injector next to eachother, you'll see what I'm talking about. It's easy, I did mine in like 10 minutes.

The one you see is my edited title. The best titles summarize the SPECIFIC problem, which leads to faster answers, less wasted time by experienced members, and a more organized, efficient forum.
i would have but they are already installed. basically i got an old flat head screw driver, put it on a grinder and sharpened it to a blade, and sliced out the plastic.
